UAE RACING: Ibn Khaldun is Godolphin's leading contender for Saturday's stanjamesuk.com 2000 Guineas at Newmarket. The Boys in Blue have three possible runners with Rio De La Plata and Fast Company also still engaged but the participation of the latter will depend on rain. "He (Ibn Khaldun) is an intended runner at Newmarket while the forecast rain will be in Fast Company's favour so we expect him to take his chance as well," said Godolphin's racing manager Simon Crisford. "Rio De La Plata is still more likely to go to France. They are in form."

A traditional Arabic welcome, including coffee and dates, will be offered to spectators, while the crowd will also be entertained with a live falconry display at half-time. Etihad's Peter Baumgartner said: "Etihad Airways and Harlequins have enjoyed a hugely successful first season together. We are thrilled to be hosting Abu Dhabi day."
