Border Enforcement Grant Program: The Senate, on April 3, passed an amendment sponsored by Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M., to the Immigration and Nationality Act (S. 2454) that allocates up to $50 million a year in grant monies for law enforcement agencies combating border-related crimes.
