Feb. 8--Almost buffet time, hungry Tucson musicgoers. From now until the end of March, Tucson is going to be pretty stuffed with live music. The Of Montreal show at the Rialto on Wednesday night should be the kickoff. And congrats to those of you who scored tickets to AFI at the Rialto Feb. 17. The show's been sold out for a while.
In the next month-and-a-half, we're going to have indietastic performances from bands criss-crossing to and from the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in Austin, Texas, in March. Other scheduling may just be serendipity, but heavy hitters include Ghostland Observatory at Solar Culture Feb. …
