BENTON HARBOR, Mich. On his second and final day at theWestern Amateur at Point O'Woods Country Club, Michael Jordanconsulted notes he carried in his pocket to get himself back on trackwhenever he strayed from his fundamentals.
"I think it really helped my game today," said Jordan, whoshot a 10-over-par 81 that looked much better and put him at 24-overfor the tournament. "It gives me something to work with."
Jordan's two-day total of 166 gave him no chance to make thecut, which was at 150. Only two players in the field of 165 shothigher two-day totals.
