The federal opposition says it's vital Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD makes headway ona people smuggling agreement with Indonesia.
MR HOWARD has met with Indonesian President MEGAWATI SUKARNOPUTRI and they've agreedthe problem should be addressed from a regional perspective.
But MR HOWARD asserts there are bilateral issues to be addressed.
